A podcast clip is doing the rounds online after comments linking sexuality and Christianity to a recent sexual assault case sparked backlash. Footage from In The Cave, hosted by Muffiy and Divadi, has been widely shared across social media.

In the clip, Divadi discusses self-pleasure and religious beliefs, referencing an incident that took place at a Gunna London concert in March 2026. A 26-year-old man was arrested after a video showed him sexually assaulting a woman in the crowd, with footage capturing him pleasuring himself against her during the event. The clip circulated quickly online at the time and was met with widespread condemnation, before police confirmed an arrest.

In the podcast segment, Divadi appears to praise the man, describing him as a “real Christian” for acting openly and embracing the embarrassment.

He goes on to call him “my hero because he showed other people how to overcome sin,” remarks that many have interpreted as dismissive of the seriousness of the assault.

The reaction online has been largely critical. Viewers have called out the comments as insensitive, with some questioning how a situation involving sexual assault could be reframed in such a way. Others have gone further, calling for the podcast to be deplatformed altogether. On"e comment on The Shade Borough's Instagram page read, "Surely he’s rage baiting because wtf?" Another added, "That man was not begging God for forgiveness he wanted to buss his sperm. How are you so dense you can’t realise that?" A third commented, "Defending predatory behaviour and aligning it to Christianity is an absurd take. There is no reality or school of thought where these two things should even correlate."

In The Cave often explores Christianity in a modern context, touching on relationships, personal discipline, and individual experiences of faith. However, this moment has shifted the focus onto the boundaries of commentary, particularly when real-life harm is involved.

The clip has also fed into a wider conversation around desensitisation. As content circulates faster and further, there’s a growing concern that serious incidents are increasingly being trivialised for engagement. It raises a broader question: in an attention economy driven by virality, are some creators pushing further into shock value at the expense of accountability?
