A moment of ordinary driving in High Wycombe turned ugly when an Iceland van driver allegedly refused to give way to a bus, causing both vehicles to become stuck and sparking a fierce verbal confrontation between the two drivers. The entire altercation was filmed by a bystander, prompting multiple reactions from individuals online.
The footage begins with the Iceland driver leaning out of his window, his voice rising in anger as he confronts the bus driver about not waiting for him to complete a turn that left his van partly on the curb. At one point he shouts;
“I’ll punch you up! Do you want me to punch you up!?”
The bus driver answers back, though what he says cannot be clearly heard, before the Iceland driver fires back:
“Shut your fucking mouth bro! Watch how you’re fucking talking to me.”

Tensions continue to mount, with both men shouting at one another and exchanging heated words, until the Iceland driver notices he is being recorded. He abruptly changes direction, pointing at the camera and demanding to know: “What are you recording me for?”, then goes further by labelling the recorder a “crackhead.”
The row does not end there. As tempers boil over, someone from the bus or nearby raises a middle finger in his direction, a gesture that draws an even sharper reaction. Furious, the Iceland driver challenges them, asking;
“Who you sticking your middle finger at!? Jump out the car and stick your middle finger at me!,"
Before continuing to berate the bus driver about how the situation unfolded.
Comments on the post reflect a mix of humour and disbelief from the community. One reader wrote;
“Ooh come on now. We’ve all had a day like this! HE IS HUMAN. Now mans got a meeting with his line manager and HR on Monday morning.”
Another was more critical of the man’s conduct, saying,
“He’s too grown to be acting like this while in a bright RED company van. I mean how does he think this is gonna end?”
A third commenter put the event into a wider context of everyday driving frustrations, noting,
“I mean he’s not the first person to have road range, hell, everyone has it living in London yet alone High Wycombe.”
The episode also comes against the backdrop of broader concerns about aggressive driving and road‑rage incidents in the United Kingdom. New research suggests that road rage is far from rare, with surveys indicating that around four in ten UK drivers experienced episodes of road rage in recent years, highlighting how common these confrontations have become on British roads.

A CarSupermarket study found roughly 40% of drivers reported some form of road‑rage incident, reflecting the rising frustration many feel behind the wheel.
Meanwhile, data shows that collisions involving buses in London are also on the rise, with Transport for London figures revealing 15,390 reported incidents of damage to buses in 2025, slightly down from nearly 16,000 in 2024 but still significantly higher than pre‑pandemic years, underscoring the challenges of road safety in busy urban environments.
