Drake’s latest livestream gave the internet plenty to talk about, but his unexpected encounter with British adult content creator Lily Phillips quickly became one of the night’s standout moments.

The Canadian rapper took part in a “20 v 1” dating segment during a Stake-sponsored Kick livestream on Saturday, August 8, alongside NELK’s Kyle Forgeard. The concept saw a line-up of women attempt to win Drake over, with Lily among the more surprising faces to step forward.

And she wasted absolutely no time making her intentions clear.

Introducing herself to Drake, Lily referenced the reputation she has built through her adult content before announcing a rather ambitious career change.

“My name is Lily Phillips, otherwise known as a super sl*t, but today I’m rebranding as Drake’s wife.”

Clearly entertained by the introduction, Drake reached out to shake her hand before responding: “Wow, I like that. I love a rebrand.”

Things only became more unpredictable from there.

After Drake complimented Lily on her tan, she revealed that she had been taking peptides before joking that she was trying to “get to [his] colour.”

The comment immediately caught Drake off guard, prompting him to burst into laughter before telling her:

‍“I don’t know if we’re allowed to say that.”

While the interaction appeared spontaneous, Lily has since revealed that simply getting herself in front of Drake required a last-minute international dash.

In a “Get Ready With Me” video posted before the stream, the 24-year-old explained that she had been holidaying in Greece when she received the invitation just two days before the event.

“I got told about this two days ago when I was in Greece,” she explained. “So I had to fly back to Manchester from Greece, then straight from Manchester to Toronto.”

Despite making the lengthy journey, Lily admitted she had been given very few details about what she was actually flying into.

Lily even captioned her preparation video “#datewithhubby” and told followers she was ready to “fall in love”, although her plans for becoming Mrs Graham didn’t quite make it past the first date.

Drake ultimately eliminated Lily from the competition, with Lena The Plug, Jordyn Lucas and Pinkchyu progressing as his final three.

Still, Lily didn’t appear too heartbroken by the result. She later shared content from the night alongside Drake and some of the other women involved.
