Social media husband-and-wife duo Meet The Thorpe have gone viral after Adrian Thorpe playfully trolled his wife Tara in one of their latest videos. The couple, who are known for their humorous relationship content and often poke fun at each other, had viewers divided after Adrian turned his attention to Tara’s appearance during a light-hearted exchange.

In the video, Tara can be seen sitting in their living room while the television behind Adrian shows six women on screen.

Adrian tells her: “Turn around. Look at the TV and tell me what you don't have in common with these girls.”

A confused Tara looks at the screen before pointing out: “Uhh, uhh, eyelashes—”

Adrian quickly cuts her off, replying: “That's a no, its edges. Every single one of these gyal deh have edges and I'm afraid you haven't developed that yet.”

Tara then hits back at her husband, telling him: “You're bald!”

But Adrian isn't having it.

“I don't care, I am bald! Do you think you're fooling anyone because you've got your hair in front of your eye?” he says.

He then breaks into song, referencing singer Gabrielle, who famously wore her hair across one eye, singing: “Dreams can come true....you are not gonna do it any longer!”

Tara jokingly screams back: “I have EDGES!”

Adrian responds: “You haven't got any edges!”

Tara insists: “I have!”

Adrian then challenges her: “Lift up your hair right now. Lift up your hair behind your earlobe. Let the world see what is going on underneath that likkle sumthin’.”

The teasing doesn't stop there.

Adrian puts an image of pancakes on the television before telling Tara: "Okay, one more, look at the TV. What does that have to do with you?"

Tara, seemingly confused by the question, replies: "I don't like pancakes, I don't make pancakes."

Adrian responds: "I know you don't. But you're built like one. Because you're flat back. I don't know why you're built like an IKEA package... but you man. I don't know what you're doing at the gym. Don't even turn around. Don't do it."

He then bursts out laughing as Tara backs out of the room.

While many viewers appeared to find the exchange hilarious, others questioned whether Adrian had taken the joke too far, particularly when the conversation turned to Tara's appearance and body.

Comments shared on the TSB Instagram page reflected the divide.

One Resident wrote: "I’m sorry everyone’s saying this is banter. I’m too sensitive for this. This will definitely lead to a few tears."

However, another commenter questioned why people were taking the exchange so seriously, pointing out that teasing each other has long been part of the couple's online presence.

They wrote: "Are people actually serious? Their content and relationship is made up of them ripping the piss out of each other. Adrian gives it and Tara gives it back ten fold. They banter, they love, they show up for each other and they have built an incred brand off the back of it. As well as being married for HOW MANY YEARS? People need to get a grip. If you can't tek jokes in your relationship then boy..."

Another commenter made a similar point, writing: "Isn’t this just how their content has always been? I’m seeing people doing thinkpieces to say that he’s started to resent her for her weight loss."
