Elicia Bailey's father has sparked widespread backlash after a video of him launching an explicit rant about fellow Love Island contestants Finley Maddock and Ellie Chadwick began circulating across social media.
The now-deleted clip emerged shortly after Finley decided to end his connection with Elicia and recommit to Ellie inside the villa, bringing an end to one of this year's biggest love triangles.
Elicia entered the villa as a bombshell and immediately set her sights on Finley, despite him already being coupled up with Ellie. The pair shared a kiss during a date, leaving Ellie devastated as Finley continued getting to know both women before eventually deciding he wanted to pursue his relationship with Ellie instead.

Following the recoupling, Elicia's father, Mark Bailey, shared a video on TikTok in which he directed a string of offensive remarks at both Finley and Ellie.
In the clip, he said:
"Yeah you deaded it. You sheep shging Welsh motherf*cker. You tell him Elicia."
He continued: "You're my daughter, I don't want you with a Welsh f*cking sheep shger anyway."

Turning his attention to Ellie, he added: "Let him go with that Scottish b*tch!"
He then continued his rant, saying:
"Fck you. Look at the state of him. Fck him. He's a Welsh waing motherfcking sheep shaer. Motherfcker."

The video reportedly ended with Bailey making sheep noises before it was later removed from his TikTok account. Despite being deleted, copies of the footage have continued to circulate online, attracting thousands of reactions from Love Island viewers.

While many viewers acknowledged Finley's handling of the love triangle had frustrated fans, a large number argued his actions did not justify the abuse directed towards him or the remarks made about Ellie.
The video quickly became a major talking point across social media, with many criticising Bailey for posting the clip publicly.
One person commented:
“Media training is one thing but certain things being put out on the internet without basic vetting from yourself gets you deserved consequences. How is man chatting like that knowing how 2026 and the internet can get you cancelled!?”
Another wrote:
“I would be so mortified if that were my dad!!”
A third added:
“Like father like daughter I guess..”
Not everyone saw the situation the same way, however, with some viewers suggesting the video was simply an example of blunt humour that had been taken too seriously. One person commented:
“Am I the only one laughing!? Can we get a grip LMAO!”
The clip has since continued to spread across multiple social media platforms, keeping the conversation alive even after it was removed from Bailey's account. Although emotions have been running high throughout this year's series, many viewers felt the comments crossed the line, while others dismissed them as an over-the-top reaction made in defence of his daughter. Either way, the video has become one of the latest off-screen moments to dominate discussion surrounding this year's Love Island.
