Former Love Island star Dami Hope has appeared to take a cheeky swipe at ex-girlfriend Indiyah Polack while promoting his appearance on Channel 4.0's Find The Cheater. The reality star joins fellow Love Island winner Amber Gill on the women's edition of the YouTube series, where the pair were seen discussing whether women are capable of being unfaithful.

In a teaser clip shared ahead of the episode's release, Amber tells Dami: "I don't think women cheat though."

Dami quickly disagrees, replying: "Women do cheat. I beg to differ."

Amber then jokes: "Well, I don't think you're going to be very good at this to be honest."

The conversation takes a more personal turn when Dami responds: "I think I am very good, I mean I caught one lately, too."

Amber then appears to reference his recent relationship drama, quipping: "Took you a long time though didn't it?"

Momentarily left speechless, Dami replies: "Well, well, well, well."

He then doubles down on his point, adding: "I've got a point to prove though, women cheat. It's time to get them caught."

Many viewers interpreted the comments as a reference to Dami's highly publicised split from fellow Love Island star Indiyah Polack earlier this year.

The pair met during the 2022 series of Love Island and quickly became fan favourites, finishing third in the competition before building a successful relationship outside the villa. For years they were considered one of the franchise's strongest couples, regularly appearing together at events and sharing their relationship with fans online.

However, the couple's relationship came to an end in January following months of speculation. The split came after Indiyah became embroiled in a cheating scandal when footage emerged appearing to show her kissing her Inside co-star Marlon Lundgren Garcia during a night out.

Following the circulation of the clip, Indiyah shared a cryptic message on Snapchat, writing: "OU, the devil is trying me today!!!"

Since the teaser was released, social media users have been divided over Dami's comments, with some believing he is entitled to reference the situation given the public nature of the scandal.

One TSB Resident wrote: "Lol anytime Dami brings this up, Indiyah needs to actually keep quiet and let him have it. You cheated and were caught in 4K, so brazenly in public too. That girl did not give a heck. If he indirects her from time to time, she shouldn’t even have a rebuttal at all. Have shame."

Another added: "If you cheat on me I can talk about it till thy kingdom come. I duno how people are telling him to get over it, it’s not even been a year and the disrespect was insanely public. And I’m sorry but he kept quiet for soooooooooo long, let the man talk."
