Content creator King68 is going viral after sharing his thoughts on dating in London, drawing comparisons between UK and US dating culture that have sparked plenty of debate online.
During a livestream, the American creator reflected on his experiences dating in the capital, claiming that many of the relationship dynamics he associates with the US are far less common in London.
One of his most talked-about observations centred around what he described as the absence of "baby mother" and "baby father" culture among young Londoners.
"Baby mother, baby father is not a thing in London... that type of conversation is not common," he said.
King68 went on to suggest that young women in London are less likely to have children at a young age compared to women in America, claiming that the lifestyle and dating expectations differ significantly between the two countries.
The creator also touched on finances and gender roles during the dating stage, arguing that London women place less emphasis on a man's income, career status or ability to provide financially early on in a relationship.
"If they like you, they like you. It's not like they've got their hand out," he said. "It's no pressure to take care of her financially just because she looks good."

However, the part of his dating recollections that generated the most discussion online was his claim that splitting the bill on a first date is relatively common in London.
According to King68, one of his female friends in the city told him that many women are happy to go halves on a date, with some even feeling uncomfortable when a man insists on paying for everything.
As clips from the livestream circulated across social media, many viewers questioned whether his experiences were representative of London dating as a whole.
Comments quickly flooded in from Londoners jokingly asking which version of London the creator had visited, while others argued that his observations did not reflect the reality of dating in the city.

While some people agreed that UK dating culture can be less financially driven than what is often portrayed online in the US, others insisted that expectations around paying for dates, financial stability and relationships vary widely from person to person.
The discussion has since evolved into a wider debate about modern dating standards on both sides of the Atlantic.
So, Residents, is King68 onto something, or has he got the wrong idea about dating in London? π€π¬π§
