CARNIVAL DJ TELLS WOMAN TO GET DOWN OFF POLE AFTER DECLARING SHE 'DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH ASS TO SHAKE'

A carnival-goer's attempt to enjoy the festivities took an unexpected turn after a DJ publicly called her out while she danced on a lamppost, leaving many in the crowd stunned. Footage circulating on social media shows the woman dancing and appearing to enjoy herself at this weekend's Notting Hill Carnival as spectators watched on. However, the atmosphere quickly changed when the DJ interrupted the music to address her directly over the microphone.

In the clip, the DJ can be heard saying: "Get down. Hello, excuse me! You don't have enough ass to shake there. Get down. Get off the pole! What do you think this is?"

The comments were met with disbelief from many attendees, with several people expressing shock at the public remark. Witnesses said the woman appeared to be enjoying the carnival atmosphere before being singled out in front of the crowd.

The video has since sparked a wave of criticism online, with many social media users arguing that the DJ's comments were unnecessary and humiliating.

Reacting on Instagram, one of our TSB Residents wrote: "Publicly shaming someone for enjoying themselves is exactly what carnival IS NOT."

Another commented: "Don't rate this one bit."

A third added: "She was having fun. I hope she is ok."

Others called for action ahead of next year's event, with one person writing: "That DJ should not be allowed at next year's carnival. That was so uncalled for. Poor woman."

The incident has reignited discussions about respect, body shaming and inclusivity at public events, with many arguing that carnival should be a space where people can celebrate freely without fear of being mocked or singled out.

At the time of writing, the DJ has not publicly addressed the backlash surrounding the incident.
