TRUMP BLASTS ISRAEL AND IRAN OVER CEASEFIRE VIOLATIONS: “THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING”

Donald Trump has lashed out at both Israel and Iran following fresh reports of ceasefire violations, accusing the two countries of losing control amid their long-standing conflict. In a fiery post on Truth Social, the former US president urged Israel to abandon any retaliatory plans after reports emerged of missile fire from Tehran.

“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!” Trump wrote emphatically on Sunday, adding that the situation was spiralling into reckless chaos.

His comments came after Israel accused Iran of firing two ballistic missiles towards northern parts of the country just hours after a ceasefire had come into effect. Iran has since denied any wrongdoing, countering with its own accusations that Israel violated the truce first.

Trump criticised both nations, saying, “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f--- they’re doing.” He added that while he was displeased with Iran, he questioned whether the missile strike may have been accidental.

“I’m not happy with Iran either. But I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because of one rocket that didn’t land, that was shot, perhaps by mistake, that didn’t land.”

The renewed tension underscores the fragility of diplomatic efforts in the Middle East, where ceasefire agreements are often undercut by last-minute escalations. While the region is no stranger to conflict, the direct intervention of a former US president has added fuel to an already volatile situation.

As of now, the ceasefire remains technically in place, but both nations have signalled a willingness to respond militarily if provoked again. International observers warn the situation could unravel rapidly if either side carries out fresh strikes.
