Former Love Island couple Lola Deal and Sean “Fitzy” Fitzgerald have left social media doing a serious double take after sharing a rather unexpected photoshoot. Lola posted a carousel of images featuring Sean on all fours while attached to a pink lead, as she posed behind him in jeans, a white vest and matching pink heels. Other shots see Lola crouching behind Sean while holding onto the lead, before one of the final pictures takes things a step further with Lola sitting on his back.

And if the pictures weren’t enough to get people talking, Lola simply captioned the post: “Good boy x.”
The pair met during the latest series of Love Island, coupling up from the beginning of their time in the villa and quickly becoming one of the season’s established couples. Sean, a 25-year-old primary school teacher and Gaelic footballer from Galway, was initially praised by viewers for his loyalty towards Lola, with some even branding his behaviour a “green flag” during the early weeks of the series.
Their journey wasn’t entirely smooth sailing, however, with the pair facing disagreements and outside interest throughout their time on the show. Despite this, they remained together and eventually chose to leave the villa as a couple after landing in the bottom three, volunteering to go rather than leaving their fate in the hands of their fellow Islanders.
Since leaving the villa, Lola and Sean have continued their relationship outside of the show, but their latest post appears to be a side of the couple viewers definitely weren’t prepared for.
Social media was gagged, with commenters expressing genuine shock at what had appeared on their timelines. While some saw the shoot as nothing more than the couple having a laugh and leaning into a deliberately provocative joke, others couldn’t quite believe what they were looking at. The bizarre pictures have since divided viewers, with reactions ranging from amusement to people simply asking what they had just seen.
However, another conversation quickly emerged around Sean’s career. Viewers pointed out that the Islander is a primary school teacher, with some questioning whether posing on a lead on all fours was necessarily the wisest post to have circulating online if he plans to return to the classroom.

That possibility isn’t far-fetched either. Following his exit from Love Island, Sean spoke about potentially returning to teaching, while Lola described him as a “good teacher” when discussing his career after the show.
Of course, being a teacher doesn’t mean Sean isn’t allowed to joke around or have a life outside of work, but with the internet rarely forgetting anything, the photos have certainly sparked a wider debate about where, if anywhere, the line should be drawn between someone’s profession and their social media presence.
