Students across the UK have been opening their long-awaited exam results, with A-Level results released last Thursday and GCSE results arriving today, August 20. For many young people, results day marks the end of months of exams, revision and anxious waiting, so naturally emotions have been running high.

However, one young creator’s reaction to her GCSE grades has particularly warmed hearts online.

In a video shared on social media, the student can be seen opening her results before almost immediately breaking out into praise after discovering how well she had done.

And she had plenty to celebrate, securing three grade 9s, two grade 8s, one grade 7 and one grade 5.

Within seconds of seeing her grades, the student begins speaking in tongues and thanking Jesus, before jumping for joy, dropping to her knees and continuing to pray and worship.

The wholesome moment becomes even sweeter as those around her begin to notice what is happening. Friends can be seen celebrating alongside her and speaking positively over her achievement as she takes in the results.

The video has since attracted plenty of congratulatory messages online, with viewers celebrating not only her impressive grades but also the raw emotion behind her reaction.

For thousands of students, GCSE results day can bring a mixture of excitement, relief, disappointment and uncertainty about what comes next. GCSEs are typically taken towards the end of compulsory secondary education in England and Wales, while A-Levels generally come two years later and can play a major role in university admissions and other post-18 plans.

But for this student, there was seemingly only one response necessary: giving thanks.

After months of hard work, three 9s and a collection of impressive grades later, her results-day praise break was certainly well earned.
