British rapper Sneakbo, is currently facing trial following an incident involving a police officer during an attempted repossession of his Land Rover in Meopham, Kent.

Sneakbo has disputed the allegations and recently shared CCTV footage of the incident on social media, showing part of what actually happened. In posts accompanying the footage, he argued that he was protecting his girlfriend after she was removed from the vehicle.

The incident took place in March 2024, when bailiffs arrived to repossess the vehicle. According to evidence reported in court, a confrontation followed involving Sneakbo, his girlfriend and a police officer where the officer, PC Anthony Burbury, alleges that he was assaulted and suffered significant pain during the incident leaving him in “excruciating pain”, while Sneakbo's girlfriend was allegedly pulled from the car while partially undressed.

The case has attracted attention online, particularly after Sneakbo publicly discussed the ongoing trial. Reports have also said that his social-media posts could lead to a separate legal issue concerning contempt of court.

The trial is ongoing, meaning no final verdict has been reached. The case highlights the difficulties that can arise when a confrontation involving police is recorded and later viewed by the public through social media.

He rose to prominence through the UK rap and drill scene, becoming known for tracks such as “Touch Ah Button” and collaborations with other major UK artists.
