Rapper and influencer Paigey Cakey has shut down speculation surrounding her recent split from long-term girlfriend Rianna Lints. The pair, who were together for four years, officially broke up earlier this month.

As rumours swirled online, many fans assumed cheating played a role in the breakup. However, Paigey has now spoken out to set the record straight, making it clear that cheating had nothing to do with it.

In a video posted to her social media, Paigey began by saying:

“I need to get this off my chest. Me and Rianna didn’t separate because somebody cheated. There was no cheating.”

She added,

“I understand a lot of people break up with their partners due to cheating but this is more of a grown decision.”

The couple first went public with their relationship in mid-2021 and quickly became known for their joint content, candidness, and visible affection. Over the course of their relationship, they moved in together, got engaged in 2023, and regularly shared their lives with fans. Their bond, though strong, appears to have become all-consuming, leading them to re-evaluate things in 2025.

Paigey explained:

“We need to separate, we need to figure out what it is that we want in life because we’ve amalgamated and been together for four years. In those four years, we got engaged, lived together, we done everything together.”

She opened up about how the pair entered their relationship quickly and never took time to heal from previous experiences.

“We both jumped out of a relationship to get straight into another one. We never healed.”

As a result, they found themselves feeling lost in their relationship and unsure of who they were as individuals outside of it. The rapper was candid about how the pressures of being a public couple added fuel to speculation, saying:

“All these accusations need to stop because it’s actually ridiculous and jarring and it’s a lot of outside noise.”

Despite the noise, Paigey made it clear that the decision to end things was a mutual and thoughtful one.

“We’ve realised we need to get to know ourselves and that is what we’re doing right now,” she explained, highlighting the importance of self-discovery following the end of such an intense relationship.

Their split, which took place earlier this month, comes after a series of personal milestones that the pair experienced together. Though the relationship has ended, both Paigey and Rianna seem to be focusing on personal growth, and Paigey’s message indicates there is still respect between them.
