UK rapper and former actress, Paigey Cakey, 32, has announced that she and her partner of four years have called it quits. In a Snapchat video, Paigey Cakey, whose real name is Paige Meade, publicly announced that the pair had gone their separate ways. She added that she and Rianna still remain “good friends” and even still reside together. Paige went on to express hopes for the future, including a possible rekindling with Rianna.

Paige went on to say that she felt she needed to announce the breakup after growing “pressure” from concerned fans who were asking about Rianna’s whereabouts. Although Paige emphasised that they are “working on themselves” as individuals, she once again expressed hopes of “reuniting the spark” with her former partner.

Rianna also announced the breakup on her own social media. In a loving selfie with her ex-fiancé, she posted the text: “Just a message to let everyone know that myself and Paige are no longer together, we are currently using this time to work on ourselves and focus on the areas we need to!"

“Our relationship very much stands as friends because we love each other as people.”

She added: Thank you to everyone who rode with us on our journey! You’ll very much see us together because it’s always love, just wanted to announce because the pressure of the world is getting to us a little! Appreciate you all xxxx”.

Rianna also confirmed their split in a video of her own, claiming that the pair mutually decided that “it’s better that they’re apart” but confirmed they would still be living together. Rianna went on to call Paige “amazing” and “a great girl” before addressing fans’ concerns regarding Rianna’s several tattoos dedicated to Paige. She remained nonchalant about the tattoos, even saying that they are just “things” and that it is “fine”.

The couple began their loving journey in 2021 and were quick to announce their engagement in 2022, with Paige calling Rianna her “soulmate”. The couple did not shy away from sharing their love with the world, even launching a couple's Instagram account to document their adventures. Paige regularly celebrated her love for Rianna, even calling her “the missing puzzle piece” completing her life in a birthday post dedicated to Rianna.

Paige and Rianna often documented their travels together, featuring in a GRM Daily Paris travel vlog back in May 2022. They’ve also appeared on talk shows such as Spill the Juice and other interviews discussing their relationship dynamics, support for each other, bedroom topics, and even Rianna’s support during Paigey’s boxing training.
