MILLIONAIRE BROOKLYN BECKHAM ADMITS HE HASN'T WORKED IN FIVE YEARS

Brooklyn Beckham has revealed that he has been fully focused on his entrepreneurial ambitions for the past five years, dedicating his time to building his growing hot sauce brand, Cloud23. The son of football legend David Beckham and fashion designer and former pop star Victoria Beckham comes from one of Britain's most famous and wealthy families. Together, his parents have amassed a fortune estimated at more than £1 billion through their successful careers in sport, entertainment and business.

Brooklyn, who married actress Nicola Peltz Beckham in 2022, is also connected to another highly affluent family. Nicola is the daughter of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, whose personal wealth is reportedly valued at around $1.5 billion.

Despite his privileged background, Brooklyn has spent years exploring different career paths. He has previously worked as a photographer and model before eventually finding his passion in the food industry.

Speaking during a panel discussion at the Tribeca Festival in New York this week, the 27-year-old explained how his hot sauce venture first began.

Reflecting on his journey, he said that several years ago he was still trying to determine what direction he wanted his professional life to take. The idea for the business emerged after he and Nicola experimented with making hot sauce at home while spending an evening together.

After watching a tutorial on the process, Beckham said he became fascinated by the possibilities and continued refining recipes to see what he could create.

That interest ultimately led to the launch of Cloud23 in 2024. The premium organic condiment brand debuted exclusively in Whole Foods stores across the United States and has since expanded to retailers including Amazon, Erewhon and Planet Organic. The company's current range includes Hot Habanero and Sweet Jalapeño varieties, each selling for around £15.

Brooklyn also shared his hands-on approach to the business, joking that he frequently contacts company executives with new ideas outside traditional working hours.

According to Beckham, he often finds himself calling Cloud23's CEO late in the evening or over weekends to discuss product concepts, future plans and potential new condiments.

The venture marks the latest chapter in a career that has often attracted public attention. Over the years, some of Brooklyn's cooking content on social media has generated debate among viewers, with certain recipes and techniques drawing both praise and criticism online.

His earlier cooking series, Cookin' With Brooklyn, also became a talking point in 2022 after reports claimed that one short episode involved a production crew of more than 60 people and carried a six-figure budget.

Away from business, Brooklyn has remained in the spotlight due to ongoing reports of tensions within the Beckham family. Earlier this year, speculation surrounding the relationship between Brooklyn, Nicola and the rest of the family intensified after the couple were absent from several major family celebrations, including events connected to David Beckham's 50th birthday and recent knighthood recognition.

In a social media statement, Brooklyn addressed the situation publicly, alleging that he felt controlled by his parents and claiming that family disagreements had strained relationships for several years. He also suggested that tensions had existed since before his wedding and stated that reconciliation was not currently his priority.
