WOMAN LEFT SCREAMING AFTER SHE FELT RAT 'BRUSH AGAINST HER' ON THE TOILET

A woman was left screaming after she felt a drowned rat touch her as she sat down on the toilet. The rats' drowned carcass had reportedly become lodged in the toilet of the woman’s Yorkshire home.

According to professional rat catcher Kieran Sampler:

“The rat has gone up another line of the drain and has come up into the toilet – while a woman was on the toilet…  it was pretty bad – I’ve never had it where it’s come up the toilet…

She was screaming – imagine being on the toilet and something brushes against you.’

Whilst Keiran, who has caught over 65,000 rats, has never dealt with a rat coming lodged in the toilet bowl, he has had some other skin-crawling encounters with the pests. Kieran told reporters:

“I had a client that had a rat that was living in the wooden lats of a bed – it’s crazy what I’ve seen.”

He adds: ‘I had one where a cat brought the rat in during the night, so the family trapped it inside the bedroom.

Kieran, who helps at least 10 customers a day, said that this Yorkshire woman will not be the last to bothered by the pests this year. Keiran warned “This winter is going to be bad… Winter time is a vital time for rats”.

Here’s Keiran 5 top tips for keeping rodents away from your house this winter:

1. Reduce Foliage

“They love foliage so if you’ve got heavy foliage in your garden, then I would recommend cutting it back.”

2. Rat-Proof Bird Feeder

“I would try and reduce bird feeders, you can’t force people to get rid of them because everyone likes them, but I would try and rat-proof them as best you can.”

3. Pick Up Dog Poo Quickly

“A lot of people don’t pick up their dog poo straight away, but that attracts them.

4. Check Drains

“If they go inside the property, then it’s more than likely a problem with your drains…

When they go into the drains, they eat the human waste and human faeces.”

5. Rat-Proof Decking

“Decking is a nightmare because rats love decking – try and proof it up because they will go under it.”
