Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have finally shared the unique name they have chosen for their newborn son after days of speculation from fans.
Fans were eager to learn the name after Molly, 27, had previously shared that fans would “hate” the baby's name.
On Wednesday, June 3, the couple shared in a joint post to their combined following of nearly 15 million that they had welcomed their second child. The image, which showed the young parents and their eldest daughter, Bambi, marvelling at the new arrival, was captioned:
“… and then there were 4.”

In a later post, the pair shared that they had welcomed a son, captioning the video post, which showed their daughter meeting the baby for the first time, “there’s your little brother”. In the affectionate video, their daughter holds her brother and kisses his head as the pair seem overwhelmed with joy at becoming a family of four.

Then, after days of intense speculation and glimpses into the growing family's joyous week, Tommy finally revealed their son's name, Midas, during his boxing match with Eddie Hall on Saturday night. Tommy also had “Midas” written in gold on his jacket and shorts as he walked out to the song Midas Touch. The name Midas refers to a legendary king in Greek and Roman mythology, best known for his ability to turn anything he touched into gold.

The name, as Molly predicted, received mixed reactions, with one user commenting:
“Please tell me it’s a joke that they named the baby Midas”
But the couple are no strangers to such reactions, as they faced similar criticism after revealing the name of their eldest daughter, Bambi, whom they welcomed in January 2023.

Molly has previously explained the reason behind her unconventional name choices, stating:
“In my opinion, you get one opportunity to name your child something that is going to make them be remembered”
“There was so much controversy around Bambi’s name but, thank God, because I wanted to give Bambi a name people are going to remember and that no one else in her classroom was going to have.”
