Former The Only Way Is Essex star Jake Hall has tragically died at the age of 35 following an accident in Majorca, leaving fans and the reality TV community in shock. Hall, who rose to fame during one of TOWIE’s most memorable eras, became a familiar face on British reality show through his dramatic storylines, high-profile relationships and close ties to several well-known cast members on the ITV reality series.

According to reports from local authorities, Hall suffered fatal injuries after reportedly smashing into a glass door while staying at a rented property on the Spanish island. Emergency services were called to the address in the early hours of May 6, where he was found with severe head wounds believed to have been caused by shattered glass.

The reality star had reportedly been out partying earlier in the evening before returning to the villa with a group of friends. Hall was staying at the property with six other people, including two women and four men, who are said to have discovered him after the incident and alerted emergency services. 

"Witnesses have told investigators he had been out partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting." A source says.

Neighbours claim Hall may have been agitated in the hours leading up to the accident, hearing “loud noises” coming from the property.

Spanish police confirmed that those present were questioned as part of routine enquiries, though no arrests have been made. An autopsy is expected to take place in Palma as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Hall rose to prominence after joining The Only Way Is Essex during one of the show’s most talked-about eras, quickly becoming known for his relationships, fiery moments and links to some of Essex’s most recognisable cast members. During his time on the ITV reality series, he dated Chloe Lewis - with the pair dating for eight years before splitting in 2016. He also owned his own clothing brand for men.

He previously owned another clothing brand Prevu. It was hugely popular amongst A-lists stars and had been worn by the England football team and even Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey. At one point Jake was thought to be worth £5million from the success of the brand, but in 2020 he owed over £1million to creditors and sold the company.

Hall was once engaged to Misse Beqiri, who appeared on Ladies of London: The New Reign. The pair started dating in 2016, welcomed their daughter River a year later, and became engaged in 2018. Later that year, Hall received a 28-day restraining order following a domestic dispute involving police intervention. In February of this year,  Hall shared photos of his daughter River and wrote on Instagram: “Putting this up again - My heart hurts not having you next to me daily but - we will conquer the world kid with good vibes and believing you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to - NEVER GIVE UP DAD - BOOOOM.”

News of Hall’s passing has sent shockwaves across social media, particularly amongst longtime viewers of TOWIE, with many expressing disbelief at the sudden and tragic nature of the incident. Tributes continue to pour in from fans and members of the reality TV community as loved ones mourn his loss.
