The celebration at The Windmill pub featured glasses of prosecco and a cake adorned with the name Lucy. It has also been reported that the booking for the event was made under Letby's name.

The gathering has drawn widespread condemnation on social media, with many expressing outrage at the public celebration of someone convicted of such heinous crimes.

Letby’s conviction in 2023 sent shockwaves across the country, with her becoming one of the UK's most notorious child killers. Despite overwhelming evidence presented during her trial, her supporters continue to claim her innocence, raising further controversy.
