Authorities identify Khaleed Oladipo as the victim of a fatal stabbing in Leicester. The 20-year-old was a university student originally from London and was studying at De Montfort University.
Khaleed Oladipo was a second-year student, studying cyber security at De Montfort University.
Emergency services were called to Oxford Street, near the university campus, on the evening of Tuesday 3 February following reports of a stabbing.
Khaleed was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination later confirmed he died from a stab wound to the chest.
Khaleed’s family also described him as an “extremely loved son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend” who was a dedicated Arsenal supporter. They believe he had been on his way home to watch a match that night when he was fatally attacked.
"He was in his second year at university, and we were so proud of him. One of his main passions was football and he had played since the age of four."

Police have confirmed that an 18-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and investigations remain ongoing. Officers continue to appeal for information as they work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
