A public fallout between entertainment brand Loyal Squad Sound and former ambassordor Ashleigh Louise Pottinger has escalated into a series of serious allegations, with both parties issuing official statements. The dispute, which surfaced publicly today (9 May), centres around claims of financial misconduct, unpaid labour, and an alleged assault.
In a statement released first, Loyal Squad Sound announced it had “severed any and all associations” with Ashleigh Louise as of Sunday, 4th May. The brand alleges that Ashleigh admitted to stealing £16,000 of company funds following the start of an internal investigation on 7th May. They suggest the total amount may increase as inquiries continue.
The statement declared the separation as final and immediate, stating that Ashleigh “is not authorised to act on behalf of Loyal Squad or represent us in any capacity.” All future enquiries were directed to the Loyal Squad management team.
Shortly after the dissociation notice, Ashleigh Louise released a statement of her own via Instagram, refuting the allegations and offering a sharply different account of events. She claims to have worked for Loyal Squad Sound Entertainment and its director, Andre Whitter, over a two-year period without receiving payment for her services.
According to her statement, Ashleigh managed multiple successful projects, including two weekend events she says grossed over £120,000, during which she covered some of her own expenses. She states that the total value of her unpaid invoices exceeds £16,000, the same figure cited by Loyal Squad, though in the context of alleged theft rather than withheld compensation.
Ashleigh also claims she was assaulted by a member of the Loyal Squad team while working in Tenerife on 4th May, the same day the dissociation reportedly took effect. She alleges the incident forced her to leave the country prematurely and that no internal investigation has been conducted into the matter.
Ashleigh Louise went on to make it clear she asserts ownership of creative and intellectual property currently displayed across Loyal Squad’s digital platforms and has formally requested its removal. She ends her statement by challenging what she describes as a premature public narrative, writing:
“There are two sides to every story… Women are often taken advantage of in business environments, and I refuse to be one of them.”
Both parties appear to be preparing for legal proceedings. Ashleigh Louise has stated her intention to resolve the dispute through the courts, while Loyal Squad has made no further comment beyond its initial statement.
