After winning ITV’s popular dating show Love Island, Lorenzo Alessi and Juila Majchrzak have announced they have parted ways.

This comes after weeks of speculation as the couple had not been seen together until this week’s National Television Awards where they had both hit the red carpet. However Days after the event, Lorenzo’s Dad Marco Alessi started slamming his son’s former flame.

Julia recently appeared on Polish podcast, Super Express, where during the interview she shed a few tears while openly discusses what life has really been like for her and Lorenzo since leaving the villa.

She said:

“It’s been hard for us this past week. Even the entire time we left the villa. But life in the villa is completely different from life outside."

She continued:

We’re disconnected from the outside world, from our phones… Two months removed from the world. We were getting to know each other there and getting along great, but it wasn’t real life—we were disconnected from everything. and then suddenly, when we entered real life, everything was quite overwhelming. But we felt the pressure, we tried to navigate it all together, but there’s a certain stress about it all.”

Moments after the interview had aired, Marco took to Instagram and reposted the clip of Julia crying about the split and called her out for trying to paint his son out to be a "villain."

“I did not conform to your tears then and I do not conform to them now.”

Love Island fans weren’t here for Lorenzo's Dad's comments as he received backlash all over social media for his opinion on the matter with one X user commenting:

Lorenzo's dad is doing too much, and Julia didn't even make Lorenzo look bad in her interview, so I'm confused why he's so mad?!

Another X user added:

Lorenzo's dad switched his Instagram to private the second people spotted those shady reposts about Julia and started calling him out in the comments.

Lorenzo and Julia won Love Island together earlier this year and proved to be a very popular couple with the public. However, after not managing to keep the romance alive outside of the villa, Juila took to Instagram to announce that the pair had decided to go their "separate ways."

She said in the post:

Since leaving the villa, we've come to the decision to go our separate ways. Some chapters are special even if they're not meant to last forever.

She continued:

We shared an unforgettable experience together, and those memories will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm looking forward to everything this next chapter has in store for both of us.
