PATRICIA BRIGHT SAYS SHE’S ‘TRYING NOT TO CRASH OUT’ AFTER CAR STOLEN FROM HER LONDON HOME

British content creator and entrepreneur Patricia Bright was clearly in for a surprise when she returned home from her holiday in Turkey, as she arrived to find that one of her cars was missing.

Patricia took to social media to share with fans that her "beloved" car had been stolen and that she was trying "not to crash out." On her Instagram story, she said: “I’ve had so many messages about my car being stolen. It wasn’t the new car, thankfully, but it was a car. I don’t want any car stolen, I don’t care if it’s a Mini Cooper. Like yes, it was my Mercedes Coupe, or my Coupé.”

She went on to clarify that the car in question was a Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupé, which she had actually intended to sell that same week. Patricia assured her followers that she had cameras and security in place, but acknowledged that these measures often fail to deter car-jackers in London.

She also admitted that the stolen vehicle did not have a ghost immobiliser, a security device designed to prevent theft by making the car undriveable without a special code. Fortunately, her new set of wheels does have the ghost immobiliser feature, as well as a tracker.

Although the new car wasn’t stolen, Patricia claimed the thieves damaged it while taking the older car, leaving behind a visible scratch.

Beyond the theft, Patricia was recently spotted attending the Cannes Film Festival 2025, adding another glamorous moment to her already impressive year.

Patricia, who studied accounting and finance at university, rose to fame after starting her YouTube channel in 2012, which has since grown to an impressive 2.73 million subscribers. She is best known for posting fashion and makeup tutorials, as well as vlogs about her glamorous lifestyle. She is also the founder of The Break podcast and the skincare and beauty brand UWA.

She recently took part in an interview discussing how financial health impacts mental wellbeing. In the interview, Patricia shared that she was "never taught anything about personal finance" while working in the corporate industry.

"It actually put me in an environment with lots of wealth, but I wasn’t making smart decisions that were helpful for my personal finance wellness," she said.

Despite the unsettling experience, Patricia continues to show resilience, reminding fans that setbacks don't define success. From luxury red carpets to everyday realness, she’s keeping it candid, as always.
