Maduka Okoye’s former girlfriend, Jelicia Westhoff, has shared a lengthy series of Instagram Stories accusing the Nigeria international of years of abuse, infidelity and neglect throughout their relationship.

Across almost 20 posts, Westhoff alleged that the Udinese goalkeeper physically assaulted her, cheated on her with both men and women, abandoned their young son and manipulated her into staying silent while his football career continued to flourish.

Opening her posts, she claimed she had kept quiet for years in an attempt to protect him.

“Imagine I shut my mouth. I lied about what you did to me so you could continue your career, and all you do is keep embarrassing us.”

She continued by claiming she was one of the few people supporting him before his rise to prominence.

“I made you. No one knew who you were.”

Westhoff then made some of her most serious allegations, writing that instead of loving their family, Okoye “beat me” and “cheated on me with men and women”, calling him “a demon who tried to destroy my life.”

She also accused him of failing to be present for their son.

“You don’t take care of your one and only son because I don’t want to be with you. I will never forgive you.”

According to Westhoff, she initially tried to maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship but now regrets remaining silent.

“Being nice and peaceful gets you nowhere. I tried for my son to be a good co-parent and erase your wrongdoings because you made me believe I was the problem.”

In another post, she suggested powerful people around the footballer pressured her to protect his image.

“Do you think I’m stupid enough to be with someone like this? The people behind him forced me to fix people’s image. When someone has an image, they can do whatever they want, and if you don’t do what they want, you have a whole team coming after you.”

She added that she was no longer concerned about how she would be perceived.

Westhoff went on to accuse Okoye of rarely contacting their son, claiming he was more focused on “punishing” her online than being an active father. She alleged she had wanted a child with him when they were together and even gave him money before his football career took off.

She later claimed she had considered taking legal action but ultimately decided against it because she feared their child would suffer the consequences.

“I was so scared to take you to court, so scared to press charges because I knew you would punish our child. But now what? I gave you so many chances.”

She also alleged she had financially supported him and allowed him to live in her home before his success.

Throughout the posts, Westhoff shared what appeared to be screenshots of private messages, including conversations she claimed related to allegations of infidelity. One message allegedly referenced Okoye cheating with “a Brazilian girl in London”, while another appeared to show legal correspondence regarding paternity matters.

Elsewhere, she shared old photographs and videos of the pair together, saying she had stood by him “through everything”, long before he achieved fame and financial success.

In one particularly emotional message, she reflected on remaining silent for years.

“After years, I finally found the strength to speak. You made me believe I was crazy, but I know the truth.”

She accused the footballer of gaslighting her, saying she had repeatedly defended him while he continued to hurt her.

Westhoff also claimed she possessed additional evidence, telling followers she had “three times last year” kept quiet for the sake of their son, but warning that she was prepared to release more if necessary.

Towards the end of her posts, she appealed directly to Okoye to become more involved in their child’s life.

“For the love of God, if you really think this is about a woman, it isn’t. Feed people instead of doing what you have to do for your child.”

She also claimed their son had hospital appointments from December until now that Okoye allegedly failed to attend, adding that if he released recent pictures with their son, she would “be quiet”, suggesting they would show how little contact he has had.

Okoye’s name has attracted growing attention in recent weeks, with many social media users praising the 25-year-old goalkeeper for his appearance, describing him as one of football’s most attractive players. His profile has increased even further after he was photographed spending time with Cardi B during her trip to Europe, sparking widespread discussion online.

The timing of Westhoff’s posts has drawn additional attention because of the recent speculation surrounding Okoye and American rapper Cardi B. Over the past few weeks, the pair have been seen together on several occasions during Cardi B’s time in Europe, with videos and photographs of them enjoying nights out and spending time together circulating widely across social media. Their appearances fuelled rumours that the two could be romantically involved, although neither has confirmed the nature of their relationship. The renewed public interest has also contributed to Okoye’s growing profile online, where many users have described the Nigerian international as one of football’s most attractive players.

Since Westhoff published her allegations, neither Okoye nor anyone from his management team has publicly commented on the claims.

The allegations have divided opinion across social media. Some users voiced support for Westhoff, with one writing:

“I believe her. So many of these famous good-looking celebs are bisexual! On a side note, there are so many spelling errors - she was probably writing this so fast and in anger!”

Another added:

“Moral of the story - never help a man who doesn’t have anything going for himself!”

Others, however, were less sympathetic. One person commented:

“Mothers pay too much attention to the father’s lack of parenting. Just crack on. From the moment you decide to have a child, you’re on your own. Social media isn’t the platform. Mothers need to understand they’re not missing out on their child’s development - leave useless parents to it.”

Another questioned the timing of the allegations, writing:

“She stayed with him and didn’t say anything. Now that he’s with Cardi, she has a voice…”

Okoye has not been charged with any offence in relation to the allegations, and they remain unproven. Neither the footballer nor his representatives have issued a public response at the time of writing.
