Love Island winners Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak appear to have put recent speculation about their relationship to rest after finally enjoying their first date outside the villa. The couple, who were crowned winners of the 2026 series during last week's live final, shared glimpses of their evening together on Instagram Stories. Lorenzo posted a photo of himself enjoying a glass of wine with an empty dinner plate in front of him, while Julia shared a snap from across the table as the pair enjoyed a romantic meal.
Their long-awaited date comes just one day after an awkward television appearance on This Morning, where questions about the status of their relationship left viewers talking.
Appearing alongside fellow finalists Kavan and Jasmine, as well as Simba and Angelista, the pair were asked by presenter Josie Gibson about rumours that they were no longer together.
"It has all worked out – and I've got to say, there's a lot of rumours that you're not together," Josie told Lorenzo. "Are you together – and what is this terminology?"
Lorenzo responded: "As we've left the villa, we're still in the same place, exclusively dating..."
Julia quickly added: "Yes, we are still dating."
The Italian contestant explained that life had been hectic since leaving the villa.
"It's been a crazy few days," he said, adding that he felt "everything needs to settle down" before they could focus on spending quality time together.
"Then we're going to go on some lovely dates..." Lorenzo continued.
Josie then asked whether either of them had dropped the "L-word" yet. The pair admitted they had not, although both suggested their relationship was heading in that direction.
"Feelings are developing, it's in the right position," Lorenzo said. "So I feel like give it some time..."
However, the conversation took an awkward turn when Julia was asked whether she felt the same way.
"Where's the date?" she replied.
The comment sparked laughter in the studio, but Julia continued to press the issue throughout the interview. After Lorenzo revealed he wanted to take her to a rooftop bar, she immediately asked: "When?"
Later in the segment, she repeated: "When's my date?"

Lorenzo insisted the outing required "a lot of planning involved" and joked that the pair could splash out on a lavish £50,000 date using their Love Island prize money.
The exchange quickly went viral online, with many viewers taking to social media to share their thoughts on the couple's dynamic.
Among the reactions posted on our Instagram page, one Resident wrote: "This is so embarrassing for her idk, why would you want to go on a date you had to beg for."
Another added, "Lorenzo is just happy to be eating... dunno about anything else sha." A third commented, "It's giving, 'here... damn.'" While a fourth said, "I feel for this girl you know."
