Molly Mae has recently run into blackfishing allegations after one of her models for her company 'Filter By Molly Mae' was seen wearing an 'Extra Dark' tanning mousse that made her look considerably different to her natural look.
Molly Mae has now been accused of encouraging blackfishing, and this post was eventually deleted after a lot of backlash was received in the comment section.
This is not the first time that the former Love Island star has faced such allegations. Back in late 2019, Molly was actually accused of blackfishing herself. She posted a video of her applying an extremely dark shade of foundation, and said:
"I've really been enjoying Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk.
"But this is too dark for me so I'm going to be mixing it with my studio fix fluid from MAC which is a holy grail of mine I use it all the time and this is in the shade NC42 which is still very dark.
The Love Island star went on to say: "I often get lots of comments on how my face is too dark.
"I go very pale in the winter time and obviously now it's getting colder, it's getting wintery, so I've gotten quite pale.
Back then she received some backlash for the video, and now she is receiving a similar response which led to the entire post being deleted from her page.
What do you think residents? Is the backlash justified?
