EX-DRILL RAPPER YONAS GIRMA FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER AFTER 2020 STABBING OF MORRISSON’S BROTHER

Former drill rapper Yonas Girma, also known as TY From The Wyld, has been found not guilty of murder and the lesser charge of manslaughter following the fatal stabbing of Stephen Morrisson, the brother of UK rap artist Mrrisson.

The charges related to the 2020 death of Stephen Morrisson, with fellow drill rapper Ellis Heather, known as #Rack5, found guilty of murder and due to be sentenced at a later date.

During the trial, Yonas denied involvement and maintained that Ellis Heather was solely responsible for the killing. He spoke in court and stated that he was not responsible for Stephen’s death.

For those unfamiliar with Yonas’ journey, the former drill artist has since stepped away from music and moved into wildlife content creation, now posting under the name TYFromTheWyld.

The verdict brings an end to the legal proceedings against Yonas, while the case against Rack5 will continue into sentencing.

Stephen Morrisson’s death was a tragedy that deeply affected those connected to him, including his brother Morrisson, who has previously spoken about the impact of losing a family member in such circumstances.
