Former Capital Xtra Presenter, DJ Tiiny has now broken his silence after it has come out that he had been playing music on his show in exchange for money, and keeping his earnings to himself
He had been charging people £200 for their music to be played during his set. He has released a statement, deeply regretting the decision he had made. Over the last couple of days I have very quickly learnt a much-needed lesson. I was given an incredible opportunity within the radio and carelessly and irresponsibly took advantage of my position."I take full responsibility for my actions and fully accept the consequences as a result."I am very sorry to everyone this has affected and to those I have let down. DJ TiiNY." His actions were exposed after screenshots had been taken of his conversation with a producer called 'J Beatz Music', where he can be seen to ask him for £200 in exchange for radio play.'
J Beatz Music' was not happy with DJ Tiiny's proposal and said:"So I did mail out of my new track coming out and look at that this DJ is telling me!" (See screenshot above)"Pay to play you know smh!
