A light-hearted challenge video featuring brothers KSI and Deji has unexpectedly ignited a serious online conversation after comments made about daughters and OnlyFans began circulating across social media.
The discussion took place during a video titled Trapped with 100 Mystery Buttons, where the pair were locked in a room for 24 hours completing various challenges. At one point, the brothers began talking about whether they want children and when, after KSI questioned why Deji had seemed uncomfortable interacting with children who briefly appeared earlier in the video.

KSI asked his younger brother if he sees himself having kids, to which Deji replied,
“Yes of course”.
When pressed on timing, Deji responded,
“When is a good time?”, prompting KSI to joke, “Mum and Dad are always going on about it.”
The conversation then turned to how many children they would ideally want, with KSI saying he would not want more than two. Deji followed up with a hypothetical, asking,
“You get a female, are you gassed?”
KSI responded positively, saying,
“It’s my kid, of course!”
However, Deji repeated the question, appearing to push for a different answer, adding,
“I know inside you’re like ‘F*CK’”.
The moment quickly shifted tone when Deji elaborated on his own perspective, saying,
“I’m having flashbacks of OnlyFans and all of that, you know. I would be like ‘Noo!’”
KSI laughed off the comment and replied,
“It doesn't have to go down that route bro. I think for me, if I have a son or a daughter, I’m just going to be so happy.”

While the exchange was delivered jokingly, Deji’s remarks have since sparked widespread debate online, with many social media users questioning the underlying attitudes reflected in the conversation.
One post on X gained particular traction, reading,
“Why do so many men fear their daughters doing OnlyFans, but never fear their sons becoming abusers, degenerate, or r*pists?”

The question resonated with a large number of users, many of whom argued that it highlights a broader societal issue around how daughters are often viewed through a lens of control, morality, and sexualisation, while sons are not subjected to the same level of scrutiny.
This type of reaction reflects an ongoing cultural conversation, particularly in the UK and beyond, about the stigma some men attach to having daughters. Critics argue that fears about daughters growing up to be promiscuous or engaging in platforms like OnlyFans often reveal deeper discomforts about female autonomy, rather than genuine concern.

Many also pointed out that such anxieties can overshadow more meaningful hopes parents might have for their children, including career success, independence, and wellbeing.
The video has since drawn thousands of comments, with viewers sharing divided opinions. Some criticised Deji’s remarks directly, while others used the moment to discuss wider gender dynamics.
One commenter wrote,
“If they fear their daughters then it says a lot about the kind of men they are.”
Another said,
“Men in the comments fearing victimless acts that hurt their ego over actual violent crimes is what causes violent crimes and why it’s so hight.”
A third added,
“Literally shows what they think of women because why are they never excited about their daughters potentially becoming future CEOs, entrepreneurs etc.”

The debate continues to grow across platforms, with many using the viral moment as a springboard for broader discussions about parenting, gender expectations, and the influence of online culture.
As of now, neither Deji nor KSI, nor anyone from their team, has publicly addressed the backlash or the conversation that has followed.
