An unnamed woman has filed a lawsuit against the Grammy-winning singer seeking $20m (£15m) in damages.
The woman, who is also a musician, dancer, and choreographer has only been identified as Jane Doe.
In the lawsuit Jane Doe alleges that she was invited by Brown to meet him at Star Island in Miami; the home of Sean Combs, better known as PDiddy - in December 2020.
The woman accepted the invite and when she arrived she boarded a yacht and accepted Brown's offer of a drink as they discussed her career.
However, after a second drink, the woman suddenly began to feel disoriented and physically unstable.
From that point, she says Brown dragged her to a bedroom, removed her clothing, and had sex with her without her consent.
Mr. Brown has since denied the allegation. He posted on Instagram: "Whenever I'm releasing music or projects, 'THEY' try to pull some real bulls**t."
His post included a blue cap emoji, which is used as slang to indicate someone is lying.
Following the incident, the woman said Brown phoned her the next day and told her to take an emergency contraceptive pill.
Jane Doe would go on to see Brown twice after their initial encounter to which he became "irate" when she turned down an invitation to his bedroom in one of the encounters.
She says she is seeking a jury trial.
Chris Brown is no stranger to these kinds of allegations. In 2019 he was accused of raping a woman in a hotel room in Paris. However, the singer denied the allegation and filed a defamation complaint against the accuser, and no charges were filed.
He also famously pleaded guilty to assaulting singer Rihanna when the pair were dating in 2009. He was sentenced to five years of probation, community service, and counseling for domestic violence.
