Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka has officially confirmed his engagement to his long-time girlfriend, Tolami Benson. The 23-year-old winger reportedly proposed during a romantic evening at an upscale London hotel, marking a new chapter in the couple’s relationship.

Saka and Benson, a senior planning executive in the PR industry, are believed to have begun dating in 2020. For years, the pair chose to keep their relationship private, rarely appearing together publicly. Their first major public moment came during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when they were spotted embracing in the stands in Doha.

Since then, Benson has made several appearances supporting Saka at international tournaments. During Euro 2024, she was frequently seen cheering from the stands and was pictured sharing a celebratory kiss with the Arsenal forward after England’s goalless draw with Slovenia. At England’s 1-0 win over Serbia, she sported a custom leather jacket emblazoned with the number 87 — a nod to the squad number Saka wore when he first broke into Arsenal’s senior team during the 2018–19 season.

While Benson’s social media features glimpses of her glamorous lifestyle — from luxury resorts and private jets to PR industry highlights — she rarely shares photos of her relationship with Saka. Her accounts do, however, include plenty of Arsenal-themed posts and interactions with other Premier League WAGs, such as Milly White and Laura Trossard.

Originally from Hatfield in Hertfordshire, Benson studied public relations and media at Birmingham City University. She previously worked at Harrods before moving into PR full-time. Most recently, she stepped into a new role as a senior planning executive at Zenith.

Despite his huge online following — with more than 7 million Instagram fans — Saka also prefers to keep his personal life off social media, choosing not to feature his relationship publicly. But after their engagement announcement the pair followed one another on Instagram.
