Big Brother is Back!

Big Brother is reportedly expected to return back to television screens on ITV next year with regular civilians as housemates.The show originally aired on Channel 4 from 2000 to 2010 with Davina McCall as the host. It then moved to Channel 5 until it was axed in 2018.Producers are allegedly in talks with ITV for it's surprising return. A television source has said that ITV has been chosen because "it is the home of big appointment telly" and are great at producing large live events, such as Love Island."They think putting it on ITV2 will open it up to a new audience and legion of younger fans. They are really keen on getting the deal done...and hope to have something firm to announce soon."According to the reliable source, the talks are still at an "early, and delicate stage". The next few weeks will be key in finalisation of an agreement between Big Brother producers and ITV.Producers are "confident they are the ones who can return it into its legendary former glory" as the show has "millions of fans and is one of the most iconic TV shows of its generation".Big Brother began as a social experiment in 2000 but quickly became a major part of popular culture. The show's original concept saw members of the public put in a house together and recorded day and night.Radio presenter and former X factor contestant Rylan Clarke is said to be on a shortlist for hosting the ITV relaunch. The show is rumoured to air in the autumn of 2023 after Love Island.
