Bellingham railway station in south east London will continue operating under the temporary name Jude Bellingham station until Sunday, after England's World Cup victory over Mexico inspired Thameslink to extend the tribute.
The station, located on Thameslink's Sevenoaks line, was originally renamed for just one day ahead of England's Round of 16 clash as a show of support for the Three Lions and one of their standout players. However, after Bellingham scored twice in England's dramatic 3-2 victory, the rail operator announced the signs would remain in place through Sunday.

Explaining the decision, Thameslink said the temporary renaming had initially been intended as a fun way to back England before the match. Following Bellingham's match-winning display, the operator decided the celebration deserved to continue for a few more days.
The tribute has quickly become one of the most talked about World Cup celebrations in the UK, with photos of the station's updated signage spreading widely across social media.
At just 23, the Real Madrid midfielder has become one of England's key players under Thomas Tuchel. His two goals against Mexico helped send the Three Lions into the quarter-finals, further cementing his reputation as one of the world's brightest footballing talents.
The temporary name change has also sparked plenty of reaction online, with fans praising both Bellingham's performances and the creative tribute.

Not everyone felt the growing attention surrounding the midfielder was helpful. One person commented:
"Stop putting pressure on that boy, let him play in peace."
Another joked:
"This will be the best thing in Bellingham's history (not Jude the actual place)!"
Although the tribute is only temporary, it reflects just how quickly Bellingham has become one of the faces of England's World Cup campaign. The station is expected to return to its usual name after Sunday, but for now, commuters passing through south London are being greeted by a reminder of one of England's biggest stars as excitement continues to build around the team's World Cup journey.
