A video has been released of American rapper Bobby Shmurda at the centre of an altercation at Proud Late London, where he had earlier performed.
West End Superclub Proud Late London had booked Shmurda to host their club night on Saturday 17 February, even promoting the occasion on their social media platforms.
Although the reason behind the altercation is unclear, it is believed that the issue emerged when Bobby and his team were informed that he would not be receiving the payment for his appearance at the end of the evening.
In the video, Bobby can be seen angrily pacing back and forth and yelling at unknown persons who were off-camera.
Onlookers flocked to the commotion with cameras at the ready, with one clubgoer even yelling "you're gonna be on The Shade Borough!"
The video also shows clubgoers and security making attempts to calm the Hot N*gga singer down and hold him back from confronting venue management.
More footage has since been released providing the context behind Shmurda's rampage.
The additional footage shows a representative from Bobby Shmurda's team confronting what appears to be the owner of the venue regarding their failure to pay Bobby at the end of the evening.
The representative says: "I just wanna let you know yeah, like for future yeah, you shouldn't do this to people."
"You can't hold an event, yeah, and not have money at the end of the night to pay the artist. It's wrong."
He then went on to condemn the owner for his lack of communication with Bobby's team, having known there would be a payment issue on their side.
The venue owner then grows frustrated with the conversation, even asking the rep why he is filming the discussion.
The representative informs him that they are filming the conversation for "evidence" before the venue owner grows frustrated and walks away from the discussion.
Bobby Shmurda has since made an apology video explaining the situation and clarifying that the incident was in fact a result of him not being paid.
He even stated that his agreement with the venue did not cover a performance by himself, however, he chose to perform anyway because he "loves his fans".
Proud Late is yet to speak on the incident, however, their site boasts of a high-end clubbing experience with "stunning" performers, and the venue has a strict dress code for its guests.
