Punk duo Bob Vylan have allegedly been dropped by their talent agency, UTA, following a controversial performance at Glastonbury Festival. The decision came after UTA reviewed the duo’s on-stage comments, which included rapper Bobby Vylan leading chants of “Free, free Palestine” and “Death, death to the IDF [Israel Defence Forces]” during their set on the West Holts Stage on Saturday, 28 June.‍ The BBC has since spoken out, stating that the set should not have been aired on its platform.

UK rapper Little Simz is suing her former producer Dean Cover, aka Inflo, for allegedly failing to repay $2.2 million in loans and withholding funds meant for album recording expenses. The lawsuit claims Cover defaulted on multiple loans, including £1 million for a SAULT performance, and mishandled recording budget funds provided by Sony's AWAL unit. As a result, Simz says she faced financial penalties due to unpaid debts. Cover has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
