A 28-year-old Glasgow man, Frederick Danquah, has received a 10-year prison sentence following his conviction for attempting to murder a two-year-old child by stepping in front of a train with him. A much-loved South London pub and cultural hub is facing an uncertain future after pub giant Young’s acquired the building’s freehold.
