Former Love Island contestant Whitney Adebayo has taken aim at her ex‑partner Lochan Nowacki, accusing him of "using another sister” for clicks. When a fan messaged her via Snapchat saying;
"Sorry to disturb you sis but have you seen your replacement?",
She replied:
“using another sister for click bait, president.”
The TikTok post by Lochan featured Lochan cooking alongside Too Hot to Handle star Brianna Balram, which immediately ignited rumours of romance. Yet observers note Lochan frequently features public figures on his cooking show, leading many to believe it was merely a professional collaboration rather than a new relationship.
Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki first met during the 2023 season of Love Island, where Lochan entered as a Casa Amor bombshell. They quickly formed a bond and ended the series as runners‑up. Their relationship continued off‑screen for the next couple of years.
In April 2025, the couple confirmed their breakup after nearly two years together, with Lochan publishing an Instagram Story: “Unfortunately Whitney and I’s relationship has come to an end,” followed by Whitney sharing the same message.
Whitney later disclosed on her podcast that Lochan ended things on 4 April, explaining he felt she had "changed" in ways he was "not willing" to embrace, leaving her “bamboozled”. This split came shortly after Whitney faced backlash and online abuse following her appearance on Netflix’s Inside, with many fans connecting the timing as contributing to strain between them.
Whitney’s remark was eventually deleted, but not before thousands had seen it. Social media users responded quickly. One commenter said:
“She should’ve said nothing.”
Others said:
“He not allowed to like other black women now? Erm..”
“He’s in love with the melanin, let him breathe and live life."
“This is kind of crazy for Whitney to spew out of her mouth.”
Lochan has not publicly responded to Whitney’s Snapchat comment, nor has he addressed the speculation surrounding him and Brianna Balram. There is no confirmation or denial of any romantic involvement. only a suggestion that the cooking clip might represent a professional collab rather than a new personal connection.
