The upcoming fight also brings renewed attention to the history between Russ and Kirky. The pair's history dates back to a TikTok Live discussion in April 2022, when the conversation turned towards the differences between North and South London rappers. Russ, who is associated with South London, made comments suggesting that artists from his side of the capital were involved in more serious street conflicts, while North London rappers were more likely to take their disagreements online.

During the discussion, Russ singled out North London rappers, including Kirky, Clavish and Huncho, questioning their involvement in what he described as genuine street beef. His comments prompted a response from Kirky, who took the disagreement beyond music and challenged Russ's version of events.

With fight night approaching, fans will be watching to see how Russ performs when he steps into the ring against Kirky.
