Love Islander Ayo Odukoya and Paul Scholes’ daughter England netball player Alicia Scholes have sparked dating rumours after a recent series of social media posts.

Alicia Scholes, the 24-year-old daughter of Manchester United star turned football pundit Paul Scholes, first came into the spotlight in 2021 after a video circulated of her father biting and chewing her toenails. Alicia then-twenty shared the questionable footage to her Instagram stories alongside the caption "True love”. 

Scholes understandably faced mounting online abuse following the viral video and eventually responded stating: “I’ve had better weekends”.

Alicia is the only daughter and one of three children that Scholes shares with his wife Clair Froggatt. In recent years, she’s made a name for herself through her own sporting achievements as an international netball player; she currently plays for London Pulse in the Netball Super League and is part of the English national team.

Alicia recently shared glimpses of her new mystery man to Instagram and fans have noticed the similarities between her new mystery man and 25-year-old former Islander Ayo. In one photo Alicia reveals very little of her mystery lover, only sharing the back of his head to an un-captioned carousel post on Instagram. However on several temporary photos posted to her stories, certain distinct features on her hidden lover were revealed, including an unmissable goatee that was strikingly similar to Ayo’s. In another post Alicia's mystery man can be seen sproting a black hoodie whilst interlocking his fingers with hers, Ayo can be seen sporting the exact same hoodie on his own instagram page.

Ayo appeared on season 11 of Love Island and became memorable for his Casa Amor antics after he eagerly kissed Jessica Spencer twice despite being coupled up with Mimii Ngulube. Neither Ayo nor Alicia have confirmed their romance, but what do you think, are the parallels undeniable?
