TOMMY ROBINSON RESPONDS TO SCEPTICS QUESTIONING HIS BEHAVIOUR IN RECENT INTERVIEW

Tommy Robinson has hit back at online critics after viewers questioned his behaviour during a controversial podcast interview with Australian television presenter Karl Stefanovic. The interview, which has since been removed from its original platform, sparked widespread discussion online after clips began circulating across social media. Many viewers highlighted Robinson's repeated sniffing, facial movements and fidgeting throughout the conversation, leading to speculation about the cause of his behaviour.

Robinson, the founder of the English Defence League and a prominent far-right activist, later addressed the claims on social media, insisting there was a simple explanation.

After one X user commented, "Donations straight up his nose," Robinson fired back: "It's called hayfever, you dumb b**ch."

Despite his response, many social media users remained unconvinced, with debate continuing across various online platforms.

Members of the TSB Instagram community, were among those sharing their views. One of our Residents wrote: "Didn't know hay fever made you gurn."

Another added: "As a hay fever sufferer, I've NEVER done this." A third questioned Robinson's explanation, writing: "Wheres your tissue… i see no sneezes."

The interview has generated controversy beyond Robinson's appearance alone. The episode was reportedly removed just hours after publication following growing backlash from viewers and advertisers in Australia over Robinson being given a platform.

The controversy has also placed renewed attention on Karl Stefanovic, one of Australia's most recognisable television presenters. Stefanovic became a household name through his long-running role as host of breakfast programme Today and was for years considered Australia's highest-paid news presenter.

Earlier this year, he launched an independently produced podcast featuring interviews with a range of high-profile and controversial guests. However, local media reports now suggest that Nine Entertainment is negotiating his departure from the network following the fallout surrounding the Robinson interview.

Nine Entertainment has sought to distance itself from the podcast, stressing that it had no involvement in its editorial decisions.

In a statement, a spokesperson said: "The Karl Stefanovic Show is a completely independent production. Nine has no involvement, including in the guest selection and other editorial processes. However, Nine is taking this matter seriously."

Neither Stefanovic nor Nine Entertainment have publicly confirmed reports regarding his future with the broadcaster.
