On a recent episode of The 90s Baby Show, Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, shared a graphic anecdote about a holiday in Bali. He described waking up next to a girlfriend, supposedly ready for intimacy, only to discover she had “sh*t in the knickers, sh*t  on the bed,” as he put it, suggesting she had “farted” and thought she had “got away with murder”.

The rapper portrayed the moment with raw, explicit detail, even saying:

“I have to leave because I’m going have to go watch you clean all that up,” before adding, “I could write a book.”

Lola Thompson, in her response, described Aitch’s rendition as “completely inaccurate,” “vulgar,” “disgusting,” and “disrespectful,” and made clear she would not stay silent. According to her, the reality was far more mundane and far less salacious.

She admitted she did “sh*t herself in Bali,” but said that it happened in her sleep, with a small amount confined to her underwear, not across the bed or anywhere near as dramatic as he implied. She recalled being violently sick in the middle of the night, vomiting and then experiencing diarrhoea from what she described as “Bali belly.” After cleaning herself up, she returned to bed and fell asleep.

When she woke up the next morning, Thompson said she was in no state to be intimate, especially after feeling like she was “dying,” and found the way Aitch had sexualised the incident “really odd” and unsettling. She also stressed that he did not react with disgust at the time. Instead, he hugged her, reassured her, and even went out on a bike later that day to get her a cool box to help her recover. Thompson said:

“So yeah, I am the girl that f*cking sh*t myself. I don’t give a f*ck. But it definitely wasn’t in the way that Harrison described it.”

Thompson went on to say she had never spoken ill of him post-breakup and was upset that an inaccurate and sensationalised version of the story became public, especially given his large platform and their prior conversations about the toxicity of online culture.

Lola Thompson, a model and social media influencer of Australian heritage, began dating Aitch in early 2023, after the pair initially connected via social media and met at an event in Australia. Their relationship lasted around ten months, ending in October 2023. Since then, Aitch has remained single and publicly joked about looking for a wife at the 2024 BRIT Awards. More recently, reports suggest he has been quietly in a low-profile relationship with someone else.

Thompson’s comments make it clear that, for her, the issue is less about the embarrassing incident itself and more about how it was turned into entertainment at her expense. By setting the record straight, she pushed back against what she sees as an exaggerated story and reminding Aitch, and his audience, that respect should not end with a breakup.
