BRITISH AIRWAYS CREW MEMBER ARRESTED AFTER NAKED DRUG-FUELLED INCIDENT MID-FLIGHT

BRITISH AIRWAYS CREW MEMBER ARRESTED AFTER NAKED DRUG-FUELLED INCIDENT MID-FLIGHT

A British Airways cabin crew member has been arrested after an extraordinary mid-flight incident in which he was found naked and dancing in a business class toilet, allegedly under the influence of drugs.

The drama unfolded on a flight from San Francisco to London Heathrow on Sunday, when fellow crew members realised the steward was missing after failing to serve meals and drinks to passengers. Upon investigation, his superior discovered the man completely nude and behaving erratically in the aircraft's business class lavatory, according to reports from The Sun.

One stunned colleague said, "We think the guy popped pills when he was meant to be working. It is an extraordinary thing to do. The plane was cruising at 37,000ft over the Atlantic, but this bloke seemed to be higher than anyone else."

The crew acted swiftly, throwing a pair of First Class pyjamas over the flight attendant before moving him to the First Class section for the remainder of the journey — which lasted ten and a half hours.

Upon landing at Heathrow, the crew member was given immediate medical attention and escorted from the aircraft in a wheelchair before being arrested by airport police. British Airways has since suspended the individual pending a full investigation into the incident.

A BA spokesperson confirmed the matter is being looked into: “Safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. We do not tolerate unruly behaviour and are fully supporting the relevant authorities in their investigation.”

The bizarre turn of events has left both passengers and staff stunned, with many questioning how such behaviour went unnoticed until mid-flight. The airline is expected to review its internal protocols surrounding crew conduct and in-flight security.
