BONNIE BLUE ARRESTED IN BALI AFTER 'MAKING ADULT MATERIAL'

Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was arrested in Bali alongside 17 men for allegedly producing pornographic content in violation of Indonesia’s strict morality laws, which heavily regulate private sexual and social behaviour.

Indonesian authorities seized multiple cameras, outfits labelled “School Bonnie Blue,” condoms, lubricant, flash drives, Viagra pills, and her illegal “bangbus” truck, including its ownership certificate, during a raid on a studio in Badung. The sex worker was arrested with a group of men aged 19 to 40 from the UK and Australia. They were taken into custody on December 4.

Billinger had purchased and renovated a single-cab pickup truck to travel to party hotspots during “Schoolies Week” events, a celebration that draws thousands of Australian Year 12 leavers to Bali for parties, clubs, and beach events in late November and early December.

Days before her arrest, police confirmed that her truck did not match the description listed on its government registration documents, a violation that can result in fines or up to two months’ imprisonment.

Bonnie had been documenting her travels online to her audience of 800,000 followers, a trail of content that helped authorities confirm her movements. Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara told reporters that the arrests followed a public report raising concerns about “suspected pornography or the creation of indecent video material.”

Pornography is prohibited under Indonesian law, with violations carrying significant fines and potential jail time. Sex work is also classified as a crime against morality, though it is tolerated and regulated in certain regions.

Fourteen of the detained men were released the following day without charge. Chief Batubara stated,

“We are releasing the 14 Australians who were detained yesterday for clarification and investigative purposes as witnesses…They are being released because they do not meet the criteria for further suspicion, as the case is still under investigation.”

During questioning, Bonnie and the three remaining British men told police they were influencers and content creators from the same area. The British nationals remain in custody and have not been charged, with investigations still ongoing.

The arrest follows an incident earlier this year in which the OnlyFans creator staged a fake arrest in the UK, posting a photo to her 700,000 Instagram followers showing herself being searched beside a police cruiser.
