The Instagram model and Personality, Annie Drea in hot soup after she tweeted rocket emojis in response to a tweet about Palestine.

Her actions angered many on the social media streets and subsequently earned her some backlash.

Although the tweet was later deleted, the damage had already been done and twitter had already taken note. One user commented: "Annie Drea fully lost the plot lol. How is she so against families getting tortured and bombed. Anyway from the river to the sea, palestine will be free"

Apologies

Noticing the overwhelming backlash, Annie took to twitter again, this time to apologise. The influencer said that she was unaware that Israel used the same emojis, on their Twitter account, to represent the current bombing of Palestinian people.

She added that she was now aware of the extent of what had been perceived and understands the backlash.

She wrote; "I'd like to first say I am deeply apologetic to those I have offended". And further explained that whenever she uses the emojis; its is reference to a spaceship landing on the moon - nothing else.
