WHITNEY ADEBAYO CONFIRMS SPLIT FROM YAMEN SAUNDERS SIX MONTHS AFTER ALL STARS ROMANCE

Whitney Adebayo has confirmed she has split from fellow Love Island star Yamen Saunders, bringing an end to their relationship just six months after the pair found romance on Love Island: All Stars.

The reality star revealed she is now single in a TikTok video that quickly caught the attention of fans, after weeks of speculation surrounding the couple's relationship.

Appearing unfazed by the breakup, Whitney addressed her relationship status with her trademark humour, saying:

"Yes I'm single but I don't give a heck. Do I look like I give a heck? Do I look like I've ever given a heck? I don't care."

She then jokingly leaned into the situation by singing along to a string of well-known heartbreak songs, making it clear she was taking the split in her stride rather than dwelling on it.

The update came as a surprise to many fans, who had continued to believe the couple were together after they regularly interacted on social media following their time on the ITV dating show.

Whitney and Yamen first met during the latest series of Love Island: All Stars, where they quickly formed a connection inside the villa. Although their relationship attracted mixed reactions from viewers, the pair continued dating after leaving the show and appeared keen to see where their romance could go away from the cameras.

As speculation surrounding their relationship continued to grow, Whitney also responded to a fan's question on Snapchat, where she confirmed that she and Yamen had quietly gone their separate ways.

Neither Whitney nor Yamen has publicly revealed the reason behind their breakup, and there has been no suggestion of any animosity between the pair.

Despite Whitney's confirmation, some fans remain unconvinced the relationship has completely ended after noticing Yamen has continued interacting with her social media posts. One person questioned:

“But he’s in the comments on the latest post!?”

Others, however, believed the pair simply were not the right match from the beginning.

One person commented:

“Both good looking people but there was no chemistry in my opinion. Wishing them both the best!”

Another wrote:

“It is what it is! ENJOY THE SUMMER! Men will still be there afterwards LOL”

A third added:

“They didn’t have chemistry at all to me, sometimes we root for black couples just because theyre black and not because they have a genuine connection..”

Whitney has remained one of the franchise's most popular contestants since first appearing on Love Island in 2023, where she finished as a runner-up alongside Lochan Nowacki. Following that relationship ending earlier this year, fans were hopeful she had found love again with Yamen during All Stars.

While the pair's romance may not have worked out, Whitney's light-hearted approach to announcing the split suggests she is focusing on herself for now. With both continuing to build their careers away from the villa, fans will no doubt be watching closely to see what comes next for the former couple.
