The Queen

The Queen has been pictured in public for the first time in two months. She was spotted in good spirits as she attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show. This comes after she missed Tuesday's state opening of parliament due to mobility issues. It was the first time she had missed the event in 59 years. Her eldest son Prince Charles delivered her speech instead. In a statement, the palace said the Queen would be missing the opening due to her 'episodic mobility problems'. They also said the decision was made 'in consultation with her doctors'.

There have been a lot of reports regarding the Queen's health issues.Back in October last year, she was spotted with a walking stick. She then had to spend a night in hospital for 'preliminary investigations'.Soon after the doctors ordered her to only carry out light duties.Despite the doctors' orders, however, the 96-year-old has been pictured speaking to 'virtual audiences' and official pictures of her meeting the president of Switzerland at Windsor Castle were released last month. The Queen also celebrated her 96th birthday in April at Sandringham. In a few weeks, the monarch of England will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, which will mark her 70-year reign on the throne. The people of England and Wales will get to enjoy a four-day bank holiday from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th, June, as well as bars and pubs, which will have their opening hours extended.
