“I don’t go to church very often,” she said. “It’s more when I’m able to. I’m so busy and travelling a lot, so it’s not always possible.”

Prayer, she says, plays a central role in her daily life. “I do pray,” Phillips explained. “Sometimes it’s five minutes, sometimes ten. I don’t need to be in a church to do that. Sometimes it’s just a conversation in bed at night.”
