NELLA ROSE SHARES WHAT WOMEN BRING TO THE TABLE IN RETURN FOR MAINTENANCE

Content creator Nella Rose has sparked debate online following the latest episode of her YouTube series Prison Bae, where she sits down with 12 self-proclaimed "f boys" to discuss modern dating standards, expectations and relationship dynamics. During the conversation, Nella argues that men should be willing to cover the cost of their partner's maintenance, including appointments such as hair, nails, waxing and lashes.

The discussion takes a turn when one of the inmates, Edson, who is humorously introduced as being "sentenced for misogyny", asks Nella what a man gets in return for funding those expenses.

Without hesitation, Nella replies:

"You get pu**y."

Her response immediately causes an uproar among the group, with several of the men reacting in disbelief. One inmate quickly responds, "Is that it?", prompting further debate about what each partner should bring to a relationship.

As the conversation continues, Nella doubles down on her stance, arguing that a man should naturally want to provide for and pamper the woman he's with.

"As a man, you should want to look after your woman. Why is everything tit for tat nowadays?" she says.

Edson challenges her viewpoint, arguing that sex alone is not a fair exchange for the financial commitment being discussed. He adds that many men also value emotional support, care, companionship and other qualities within a relationship beyond physical intimacy.

The clip has since gone viral across social media, dividing opinion online. While some viewers agreed with Nella's belief that a partner should be willing to contribute towards their significant other's upkeep, others criticised her comments, arguing that women bring far more to relationships than just sex and that reducing their value to that alone misses the bigger picture.

Residents, whose side are you on? Is covering your partner's maintenance part of being a provider, or should relationships be about more than financial exchanges?
