Influencer Mya Mills has announced the birth of her first child, revealing the distinctive name she has chosen for her newborn daughter. The 25-year-old content creator, who first shared news of her pregnancy in February, took to Instagram to update her 729,000 followers with the happy announcement. Mya posted a collection of heartwarming photographs, including images of her baby girl as well as moments captured during and after the birth.

Sharing the news, she wrote: “She’s here. Storie Sochan 05/07/26 8lb4. A whole week early and with a few unexpected twists along the way, but you made it into our arms safe and sound, and that’s all i could ever ask for.

“Welcome to the world, my Storie!”

The announcement comes months after Mya sparked speculation about the status of her relationship with NBA star Jeremy Sochan shortly after revealing she was expecting.

When announcing her pregnancy, Mya shared a video alongside a caption explaining that she was five months pregnant. However, fans were left questioning her relationship status after she suggested the announcement had not happened in the way she had expected.

Although Jeremy appeared in the video, followers began speculating that the couple may have separated. Observant fans noticed that Mya appeared to have removed most traces of the basketball player from her Instagram profile, with the pregnancy announcement remaining one of the only posts featuring him.

The pair also do not follow each other on social media, further fuelling rumours among followers.

In her original pregnancy announcement, Mya wrote: “5 months of growing you, half way to holding you.

“This isn’t how imagined announcing this but some things come to light at the right time… this will only make me stronger, see you soon little one.”

Mya has built a large online following over several years through her lifestyle and fashion content. She also appeared on the Sidemen reality series Inside.

Jeremy Sochan, 22, is a Polish-American professional basketball player who currently plays in the NBA and has attracted significant attention both on and off the court.
