Mya Mills has announced that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, NBA player Jeremy Sochan.

The influencer and model reportedly began her relationship with the New York Knicks power forward in early 2025, with the first public reveal of them as a couple happening around June 2025 when they “hard‑launched” their romance on social media. Mya is known for her online presence and has amassed over a whopping 1.3 million followers across her platforms. While Mya’s stream of content solidified her place as part of the wave of Gen Z social media personalities, her famous dating history has contributed significantly to her notoriety.

 Mya’s first high-profile relationship was with drill rapper Digga D, who publicly confirmed their relationship in March 2021 when he shared affectionate photos of them together on Instagram. The 24-year-old has since been romantically linked to footballers Saïd Benrahma and Diego Moreira.

On Monday, Mya announced her pregnancy with 22-year-old Sochan by sharing a post to her social media which included a montage of her and Sochan finding out about and preparing for their new arrival. The video was captioned:

“5 months growing you, half way to holding you.

This isn’t how I imagined announcing this, but some things come to light at the right time… This will only make me stronger, see you soon my little one”.

Fans were quick to scrutinise the caption and soon began noticing several signs that there might be trouble in paradise. One speculator wrote:

“Am I the only one that read the caption?

Uhm why is no one talking about it. What does she mean this isn’t how I imagined announcing this?”

Many rushed to respond, with some suggesting her veiled caption was because others had begun leaking the news of her pregnancy online before she could announce it. Others pointed to signs that the pair had split, with one user commenting:

“Nah they broke up she doesn’t follow him anymore”.

Mya did indeed unfollow Sochan, who previously featured in several of her social media posts. She also reposted a TikTok video that was headlined ‘I love being a woman because we always find out what a man did’, fuelling fans' suspicions.

However, Sochan, who is of Polish and American heritage and was raised in England, still follows Mya. Sochan began his basketball career while living in England, first as a youth for the MK Trojans in Milton Keynes before moving to Southampton and playing for the Solent Kestrels youth team and Itchen College, before moving back to the US in 2021. Since then, Sochan has amassed a net worth of nearly £17 million, with his most recent 2025/26 contract being for £5.3 million.

While the status of their relationship remains unconfirmed, their baby is due around June, and both parents-to-be seem excited to meet their new arrival.
